Snap, Crackle, Pop

Once a year this happens. Outside of the office is a beautiful magnolia tree. Spring has been slowly showing up in NYC. Last week I looked out and thought, "Today is the day when the magnolia flowers will bud, blossom and drop to the ground leaving the green leaves." I stood by the window to watch and it did not disappoint. Snap and crackle to open and pop to bloom. It was a beautiful sight to see and I allowed myself the time to:

STOP—pause to change a direction or habit. In my case, always rushing at work.

LOOK—train the eyes to see in every direction and be ready to see signs of beauty, tenderness, love and even danger.

LISTEN—to hear what others are really saying and feeling. Listen in all directions and be a receptor to life's miracles.

Explore and treasure this wonderful world.
