Have you been pushing so hard to get things done that it seems like nothing is getting done? You can't seem to get anywhere on time and you get frustrated because you forgot to buy the fruit at the store and now have to go back for it?
We are a busy society today and the more busy we get, it seems that more frustration rises.
I wonder what would happen to the world if we stopped and took the time to REST! Siesta is taken in Europe and the workers are more happy and productive. Relationships improve with rest. When we actually get a full night's rest we feel better the next day and our agenda flows.
Try a few of these tips realizing that it is not a waste of time to have down time.
-Soak in a hot bath with bubbles or Apple Cider Vinegar.
-Turn off the computer and TV and sit on the couch with a
good old fashioned book.
-Say "It's OK to rest".
-Say "No" to any task that suddenly comes up that you feel
takes precedence over rest time.
-Schedule rest time on your calendar and stick to it.
-Go to a movie with friends or family.
-Enjoy a night out at least once a month, and do not interrupt it with constant checks of emails on your Blackberry.
You will not "rust of you rest." You will shine!
